DAY 3

On my last day, I went to the World Trade Center. It is so beautiful and moving, now there are two big fountains at the exact place of the Twins Tower. And on the edges of the fountains, there are the names of all the people who died the 11/09/200. I was really moved. This is one of the things that you must do in New York. For my last few hours, I took tourist’s bus at Times Square! It is the bus which made the city tour, and the driver gave you some anecdotes about the monuments. I liked this bus tour because it allow us to see the most important of the city

I really enjoyed my trip in New York City which is a dazzling city. It was awesome to discover a new world. And I’m sad to be back home but I have a lot of good memories.

All the pictures are mine.

Day 2 in NYC

DAY 2

In the morning, I went to Central Park and I played baseball with some American guys and girls and they explained me the rules and how to play, because I was going to a game on the afternoon and it’s very hard to understand without instructions. Central Park is so big! It's just incredible to have so much greenery in a such big city. I also didi segway in Central Park, it's so funny, I really enjoyed this moment. So, the game took place, in the Bronx, a neighborhood of New York, in the Yankee Stadium which is so huge! The match last 4 hours, it was long, but there was a great atmosphere there, very joyful and convivial. It was my first baseball game and I was very excited and pleased. I don't understand everything which happened duringnthe match but it was a great experience!

DAY 1

When I landed on the American soil, I took a cab and in the car, I saw my first view of New York. I was amazed to see this city for the first time. It was like in the movie, it dazzled me.

First, I did some shopping on Broadway and the Fifth Avenue, it is so much cheaper than in France, I made bargains! I was so happy to be there! While walking, I was discovering a new way of life, the American one, and I just love it. I wandered in the streets, looking at the sky because of the skyscrapers.

Secondly, in the afternoon, I took the subway to go down in lower Manhattan in order to take the boat to reach Ellis Island. I saw the Statue of Liberty on the road. When the boat finally stopped, I visited the Immigration Museum. It was very interesting, I’ve learnt a lot.
